Manchester Orchestra - Mean Everything To Nothing - I think I'm in the minority when I say that I wasn't the biggest fan of their debut album, I thought it was good but I never found myself wanting to listen to it again, this album changes that and I've found myself listening to tracks from this album a lot.ġ0. Bomb The Music Industry - Scrambles - Another solid album by this band, this one sounds a lot better than their previous efforts and you can download it for free from the labels website, quote unquote records (although you can't go wrong by donating some money).ġ1. ![]() Farm - I really enjoyed their first comeback album Beyond, however I enjoy this album a lot more, I found it to be a lot more cohesive and makes me look forward to their next album.ġ2. Oceana - BirthEater - This is an interesting album dealing with Abortion, its more on the heavier side but is definitely a solid album that is great from beginning to end, unfortunately this band broke up not too long ago.ġ3. Bibio - Ambivalence Avenue - I probably would not have heard of this album without the review that Pitchfork wrote for it, this is another one of those albums that is great to zone out to while listening to it.ġ4. ![]() ![]() Here are the top 15 albums that I've heard so far this year.ġ5.
